TC3 co-hosted the 2026 Canadian Cannabis Research Summit with the Canadian Consortium for the Investigation of Cannabinoids at Chestnut Conference Centre at the University of Toronto.
 
This year's summit brought together cannabinoid researchers, trainees and clinicians from across the country and beyond. 

Our Keynote Speakers this year were:
 

• Dr. Yasmin Hurd, Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai, New York

• Dr. Ziva Cooper, UCLA Center for Cannabis and Cannabinoids, UCLA, Los Angeles

 
The event featured engaging talks, informative posters, networking and an exciting panel on "Opportunities and Challenges for Cannabis Researchers in Canada" featuring CIHR Institute of Neurosciences, Mental Health and Addiction Scientific Director Dr. Patricia Conrod, Dr. Karim Ladha, Dr. Iris Balodis, Dr. James MacKillop, and Dr. Victor Tang.

The summit provided TC3 members and trainees with a unique opportunity to meet and network with fellow researchers from across the country and beyond.
