Lauren Cadel is a PhD Candidate in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto. Her research focused on co-designing, refining, implementing, and evaluating a medication self-management toolkit, MedManageSCI, for adults with spinal cord injury/dysfunction (SCI/D) across Canada. Individuals with SCI/D frequently experience secondary conditions post-injury, with pain being one of the most common and complex, which require the use of multiple medications to treat and/or manage. Lauren is interested in continuing to explore ways to improve the delivery of health services and optimize patient experiences and outcomes.
